Question about status

Hi All,
Thanks for all your help with my previous queries.

I am on H1B, my visa is valid till 2011 Sept. We are leaving US forever on Sept 1, due to lot of reasons. My question is do I need to have pay stubs till the day I leave, the reason I ask is the last two weeks of august I dont want to work and spend time on vacation. Officially neither my company will relieve me nor I resign for my job. So technically I am still in Job(?)...so can I stay in county without pay stubs for that two weeks.

When you are in H1B, you need to be working and get paid. Any time spent on H1B without pay slips will be treated as out of status. You will need to convert your status to B2 if you want to stay in U.S to visit places.
