H4 EAD working on previous H1B approved by previous employer

I was with company A, which applied for H1B extn,H4,H4 EAD all together which was approved. However I changed employer from A to B and applied H1B Transfer, H4 and H4 EAD again with new employer, however its been 6 months there is no progress on H4 or EAD. The question is if my spouse can work on H4 EAD which is approved based on H1B of Employer A (I140 is not revoked, H1b is not withdrawn )

If you get H4 and H4 EAD Approval that you filed initially then you are good to work under that status.. Here approval is matters.
