H1 Visa Validity and alternative options

Hello,

I have H1 visa valid till 2023, I’m now moving to Canada on Work Permit and would like to come back to US after a year.
Q1. Will my H1 visa still be valid if I works for same employer and same client after a year
Q2. If I apply to B1/B2 visa to visit the USA in meantime will my H1 visa gets revoked ?

Answer: Yes. within H1B Approval period and valid visa stamping, you can come back and utilize the H1B status.
Q2. If I apply to B1/B2 visa to visit the USA in meantime will my H1 visa gets revoked ?
Answer: It depend on filing method. If you file COS while you are in the USA, your H1B will be gone once you get B status approval. If you get B visa at consulate then your H1B will be still alive.
