H1B Visa stamping Notarized employment letter

Hi

I am planning to visit my home country this month and also going for H1B visa stamping.

I got my original employment letter from my employee with company logo on it and signed by my HR manager.

but one of my friend says that we need to get notarized the employment letter(even though it is original)....

please let me know is it mandatory to get notarized my employment letter,if so what should i do to get it notarized?

A letter from your employer on their letter head is good enough.
