Hello,
I would like to ask for some advice for getting an H1-B sponsoring, teaching and/or counseling job at a University/College in the U.S.
I have a PhD in clinical (counseling) psychology.
I have had multiple job interviews and even had some clinical postdoc job offers... But once I tell my potential employers that I do not have a work permit (e.g., green card), they usually tell me they can't proceed with the hiring process.
How could I find an H1-B sponsoring clinical/teaching job in the U.S.? What's the best way to find an employer? Unfortunately, my native language is not Chinese or Spanish, so my not-so-popular native language/bilingual status hasn't help me land on a job yet.
Any advice is appreciated.
