H1B renewal

Hi,

I am working as an electrical engineer on H1B for the last 3 years. I did my masters here, and continued to work with my professor on H1.

Though I had applied for a 40hr/week visa, Due to varying work loads, I didnt really work that much. So my W2 has lower amounts than If I had
worked for the full 40 hours.

Is this going to be a problem when I apply to renew my Visa?

Yes, if the amount on W2 is less the amount on LCA.
