H1 and L1 Visa

Hello, I;m writing to this forum first time.

I'm on a H1 visa currently from company A in US. My wife is on H4 and currently in India. My wife wants to work here and one of the option is if company A can file my L1 visa.

My question is, Can i have both visa at a time. I mean can I have a new L1 visa while still having H1 or my H1 visa will be cancelled.

Most likely H1B will be cancelled when you go for L1 stamping. There can be only one valid work visa at a time. But sometimes the consulate let the candidate have both the visas. If that happens, then consider yourself lucky.
