H1b Stamping Outside India

Hi,
I had to travel to India With family due to medical emergency. I am not eligible for waiver as i dont have any US born kids. I initially had my dropbox scheduled in July, but had to prepone my travel due to emergency and now am stuck in India with Consulate closed. Has anybody had any experience travelling to any other country for stamping and then entering USA after staying there for 14 days.

So, as you mentioned you preponed Appointment, did you complete your Stamping Interview process or drop box appointment? If so, then you can try staying some other country for 14 days then plan to travel USA.. But per my knowledge, most of the countries been banned Indian flights due to COVID..
If you have not got Visa from Indian consulate yet, then its better to wait for sometime to back normal.
