H1B to H4

Hi,
Can I continue working on H1B visa and have my spouse file for H4 (I-539) for me? Can I keep working on valid H1B visa while my H4 application is pending approval and stop working the day H4 is approved?

Hi,
Yes. Hope you filed change of Status and you have H1B validity remain.. but please make sure, sometimes USCIS will approve your change of status and you will get notification bit delay.. During these days you will not be employed.. Therefore, please keep tracking your change of status petition. Once you get the approval notification you must stop working immediately.
