H1B travel to india

Due to family emergency my husband needs to travel to India now. His H1B stamping expires on sep 6 2021. He is planning to go India tomorrow and planning come back on august 15th. He has h1b extension approval I797 valid.

can someone let me know if he is good to travel? Without going for stamping in India since is coming back 15 days before stamping expire with extension approval

Hi,
As long as he has valid visa during travel, will not have any problem. But, I have a concern on return.. I hope, he needs to get NIE Approval. To get this, beneficiary needs to send email to consulate in order to travel back.
Another way, Please check with flights whether they need NIE approval, in order to travel back to the USA.
Please confirm all of these things before plan.
