Switching employers after winning H1b this year

Hi all - I was fortunate to win the lottery this year. I know the h1b kicks in o https://9apps.ooo/n October 1st. However, I'm deciding on switching employers around mid-August to early September. Would I be able to keep my h1b? Thanks in advance.

You can't keep the H1B you have, but you can (without cap concerns) get a new H1B from the other employer provided he has a job that would support one.
