Read your petition approval notice. There is an entry called petitioner on that. That is the person/company who filed the petition. Generally it is the employing company's legal name.

You can leave the other relatives part blank. Only close family matters.

  • H1-B Application Question regarding Application Receipt/Petition Number - Urgent

For my application receipt/petition number it asks for:

Name of Person/Company who Filed Petition:
    Application Receipt/Petition Number:

I know where the receipt number is and got that.

For the Name of Person/Company, is that my employer or the law firm that filed the petition for the employer?

Also, under Family Information, it has a question for immediate relatives staying in the US (I don't have any) and then a follow up question on just "other relatives". Should I count my Aunt (Dad's sister) in this?

    Thanks
