Chennai US Counsulate with US born baby

Hi,

I have an appointment in Chennai US counsulate with my family and I have 2 kids, one with Indian citizenship and one with US citizenship. I have filled DS 160 for my child with indian citizenship, but not for my US born child. Will I be allowed to take my US born child to the counsulate with me even though there is no appointment taken for him?
Any information is appreciated ..

With a US passport, a US Citizen will be allowed inside the consulate.
