Hi,
I am from India and my husband is working in US under H1 visa . I am planning to apply for H4 Dependent visa through his company.
We were married in 2009 and the marriage was registered but the marriage certificate has incorrect spelling in my last name and my husband's first and last name has been interchanged.
While appearing for the personal interview at Consulate for H4 can I bring an Affidavit from Notary stating the Corrections in the names along with the marriage certificate? Will this be sufficient?
