U.S. Embassy & U.S. Consulates closed on November 26, 2010
U.S. Embassy, New Delhi & U.S. Consulates in Mumbai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, will remain closed additionally on November 26, 2010 apart from November 25, 2010 (Thanksgiving Day) and would resume their regular working from November 29, 2010.
The U.S. Consulate, General in Chennai will function as per the normal working schedule and will cater to all interviews scheduled on November 26, 2010.
The U.S. Consulate General in Hyderabad has rescheduled all visa interviews scheduled on November 26, 2010 to December 3, 2010. Your appointment time will remain the same. Please appear at the U.S. Consulate General Hyderabad for your visa interview on December 3, 2010 and present your November 26, 2010 appointment letter at the gate. If you wish to appear for an interview on a different date, you will need to schedule it through VFS at www.vfs-usa.co.in
All U.S. Visa Application Centres across India will remain open and will follow the regular working schedule including our Helpdesk services except for the U.S. Visa Application Centre in Kolkata.
