  • Lottery Registration Accidentally set as Masters Degree

Unfortunately just found out my company mistakenly registered me under the masters quota for the H1B lottery when I just have a Bachelor's degree.

Has anyone heard of any such scenarios? Is my registration completely invalid now / guaranteed rejection?

Or is it possible to salvage this somehow?

I'm in touch with the attorneys, but wanted to get input from folks here.

It is not uncommon for mistakes to happen during the H1B registration process, but it is important to address the issue as soon as possible to avoid any negative consequences.

The fact that you were registered under the masters quota when you only have a bachelor's degree could potentially invalidate your registration, and you may not be selected in the H1B lottery. However, there are some potential options that may allow you to salvage your situation.

One possible option is to apply for the H1B visa through

I would recommend discussing your situation in detail with your attorneys, as they will be able to provide you with the most accurate and up-to-date information regarding your options and the best course of action to take. It's important to
