H1B Stamping in CANADA

Hi All,

My Visa stamp already expired on Sep 2010. I have valid I797 till April 2011 and I already applied for my H1B visa extension. I am planning to visit CANADA after I will get the my extension approval.

I have my client letter with me that mention "open ended project" and i am "crucial resource".

Please let me help out
1) Is it fine that I go to CANADA and get stamping rather than INDIA?
2) What the documents I needed to get stamped in CANADA?
3) what are the possibility to get stamped in CANADA in this condition?
