Hi OP,

if you are looking for an Visa appointment in March'2011-then those dates will not be OPENED now.
as Visa appointment dates are available 2-3 weeks in advance only.
So as per me there is no use of filling DS-160 now.
You should start your process during month of FEB'2011 and by that time "Issue of Future Date" will also be resolved.
