Applied for SSN

Hello,

I have applied for SSN last week and i have a plan to leave US immediately due to some personal emergency. Would there be any issues in getting SSN to my mailing address when i am not present in the country?

No issues. SSN is a very important documents and make sure that someone whom you can trust can collect it for you or if you have plans to return back soon, then call the local post office to hold your mails until you return so that it doesn't get to someone who can misuse it.
