  • H1B Stamping after PERM and I-140

    Hello All ,

I am going to India for vacation and i would need to stamp my visa during that time.I have labor and I -140 approved and based on that I have filed the extension beyond 6th year. Its approved.

My question is Do I need to carry extra documents as PERM and I-140 is approved or just the documents that are required in absence of any green card process. Also can some point to me a checklist for H1B.

    Thanks,
    Rohit

If possible carry a copy of the I-140 approval (It is not required for stamping though). If your employer has not given you a copy of I-140, then now is a chance for you to get this document from them since it will help you to recapture the priority date if you quit the current employer and join some other company.

The documents that you require for your H1B stamping is listed in the below link.
