    Dependent VISA for US born child

    Hello,

    I'm an expecting father currently in US on H1 visa. My wife is here on H4. We're not in a position to travel to india due to medical reasons and hence expecting the child to be born in US. After delivery we'll be applying for Indian passport for kid so that child will be Indian. We will NOT be applying for US Passport. We donot want US citizenship as we're here only for short period when I have work and will return back to India.

    My question is after the child is born in US and once i return back to India, Can I bring my kid with me on H4 VISA to US as I may have to keep travelling back to US depending on my work requirements.

      I don't think you can travel with your kid without his/her passport. You have to apply for us passport
