Urgent - pls help --Domestic air travel when H1 B extn is in progress

I have a H1B stamping on my passport and no other US ID card. My employer has filed for an extension. My H1 B expired on Dec 7 last month.. I have to make some personal domestic travel (within US) .. Will it cause any issue since H1B stamping is expired.. What are the do's and the dont's and What documents should i carry other than passport just in case..

Valid visa is not required to travel within U.S. A valid passport will do. However you need a valid petition/I-94 or a pending extension to stay in U.S

Your drivers licence is sufficient ID for domestic air travel. But you should keep passport, I-94 and all original petition approval and receipt notices with you.
