I am currently employed by Employer A and hold H1B status valid until February 2023. This was approved in February 2020.
Previously, I had a job offer from Employer B and my H1B transfer was approved until May 2021, but I declined this offer in March 2024 and continued working for Employer A.
Recently, while renewing my driver's license, I was told it could only be valid until May 31, 2021. Despite providing my valid I-797 from Employer A (expiring February 2023), the SAVE case response from USCIS also listed May 31, 2021 as my expiration date. I believe the USCIS system is incorrectly reflecting the dates from my declined Employer B petition.
I'm concerned this discrepancy may cause issues when I travel to India in June 2021 for visa stamping. How can I correct this information in the USCIS system?
Additionally, am I legally allowed to continue working for my current employer (A) after May 31, 2021, given my valid H1B status until February 2023?
Any guidance or assistance would be greatly appreciated.
