my h1-h4 case

Hi Guys


my case is i am on h1-b from one year but on bench.. my wife is on her h1-b too. now the time came to extented her h1-b.

now the stituation is i am in confusion that i have to change my stats to H4 or contniue on my h1-b . ( i have a confident that i can get a job very soon !! if i don't get job which one is better? )

could some one explain me the procuderus for both actions.

Both are not possible in your case since you are out of status on H1B. Consult a good immigration attornry. There is no such thing as "bench" when you are in H1B. You need to be working and getting paid to maintain the H1B status. Renewal or change of status is not possible now.
