  • Work start post H1B approval

My H1B transfer (extension) got recently approved however, my new employer is waiting for the new I-94 (for completing I-9 form).

My question is that do they really have to wait for the hard-copies? Won't USCIS send the soft-copies to the company attorney ?

Anyone who knows , could you please respond back. Also, if the answer is NO then isn't there a possibility that I start the work immediately and sign the I-9 within XX days ?

A company where my friend works, allows them to start work immediately after approval with a requirement to sign I-9 within 3 days.

    thx,
    PG
