Hello,
I am a Malaysian citizen in the US on H1B. My fiance is subject to "2yr home residency requirement" from her J1 from 4years ago. She has been in the US on F1 for the past 4 years and hasnt completed 2yr home stay requirement.
My question is: If we get married will she be able to change her status to H4? I know she can't get H1B without completing the home stay requirement, but what about H4? We are hoping that if she gets H4, she will be able to complete the 2yr requirement over the next few years by visiting home frequently.
