    H1B renewal

    Hi,

    I am going for H1B renewal at the end of Feb 2011 , at chennai cosulate.

    I have changed the employer last and have new petition till June 2013.

    My current visa is till Aug 2011 (old employer), and as I am coming to India I am planning to go to India.

    My question is that in case my new visa is not approved, can I still use my old visa to come back to US and whether the VO cancels my old visa also.

    Appreciate your response.

    It is highly likely that the old Visa will be canceled too. But if not, you can use it.

        It totally depends on the VO. Most likely your old visa will be cancelled when you go for new stamping.
