Hi,
I am currently on L1A visa which maxes out 7 years in Dec 2012. My Employer has filed my PERM under EB3 Category last week.
I will be maxing out 6 years in Dec 2011 and my employer states that I can convert to H1B next year post 6 years maxout. He states that with an approved I-140, I will be able to convert from L1A to H1B even after I have maxed out 6 years. Is this possible or am I missing something? I thought we need to convert to H1B before 6 years maxout.
