Reg H1 Stamping

Hi Gurus,
I am on myH1B.Recently my wife who was on H4 got H1 (when she was in US) and she is working over here. Now that since she is planning to go for stamping in India; if her H1 stamping gets rejected,can she convert into H4 visa and come back to US? And then again convert back to H1? If so; after rejection, within how much duration can she go for stamping again? Please suggest.

If H1B stamping gets rejected, then YES she can apply for H4 and travel in H4 visa (assuming H4 gets approved). After coming back, her employer will need to file a COS from H4 to H1B and when that gets approved (with a new I-94), she can start working on H1B status again.

She can apply for H4 immediately after H1B rejection. There is no such time limit to wait.
