H1 notify only,change of employer

Hi,
I am on L1 visa with company A and have an approved H1B (notify only without COS) sponsored by my current employer as well. Can I change my emloyer to company B based on my approved H1B notify or do I need to get new H1B approval.

Company B will need to file a new H1B petition using the CAP from the existing petition from Company A as a COS from L1. When the COS to H1B gets approved, you can work for Company B.
