Hello,
I recently got a new job offer, for which the lawyer at that company mentioned that they handle the immigration work internally, and hence asked me to submit checks for the H1B transfer petition (without any reference to my name on the checks etc), and mentioned in an email that I will be reimbursed for it later.
I understand that I am not supposed to pay for any fee myself for any such petition, but if I have a written comment from that company saying they will reimburse it to me later, is that okay? Or does it leave a gray area where I could potentially get in trouble?
Any pointers are sincerely appreciated.
Many thanks in advance.
