  • I-129 Help "Federal Eployment Identification Number" vs "Indiv. Tax Number" vs "SSN"

The company that is sponsoring me wants to know what they have to enter on page 1 of form I-129 under "Individual Tax Number" and "Social Security Number." Are these two items applicable if a company/organization is sponsoring you or only if it's an individual? If it's a company, are these two fields simply left blank or one has to put N/A (not applicable)? Thanks

    Hi OP,

Your company immigration attorney should be able to tell this.

But I am telling from my I-129 application (Page -1)

Federal Employee Identification # ---- should be your Employer/Company Federal ID #
US Social Security # - left blank
Individual Tax # - left blank.

I believe same should be the case with your application also.

    Thanks and Regards,
    Abhay
