Citizenship change after H1b approval

My wife came on H4 visa to USA. She now has a H1b approved till oct 2013. She filed H1b with Indian nationality and currently has an indian passport. She doesn't have H1B stamped on indian passport.

She has a Eurpean nationality now (portugese).she can go ahead get the protugese passport and will have to surrender the indian passport. if we do that how does the H1 stamping work? as her I-797 is tied with indian nationality. What will be the procedure to have that h1b associated to portugese passport? any help will be much appriciated.

I am in the same situation. I applied H1 on 'xyz' citizenship. H1 still in process. I have now received 'abc' citizenship.

Could you share your experience?
