Is H1-B transfer possible even if I haven't traveled to US on H1-B?

Hi All,

Lots of confusions are going on in my mind.
I recently got my H1-B Visa stamped. Due some issues, it is not possible to travel to U.S. and work on H1-B.

Suppose if I change my organization, will my H1-B remain valid?
Is another employer able to file for H1-B transfer?



Please let me know, what should I do in this situation.

>>> The H1B visa in the passport will remain valid until its expiry date and you can use that to travel to work for any employer who sponsors you an H1B petition. However, the approved H1B petition can be used only for that particular employer. If you want to work for a different employer in H1B status, then they have to sponsor you an H1B petition and that should get approved for you to travel.

Is another employer able to file for H1-B transfer?
