Is the Distance Education is Valid for H1B visa?

Hi ,

As per my knowledge, Eligibilityfor H1B is - B.sc (15 years studies) with minimum 3 years’ experience or B.E/M.C.A (experience not mandatory).

I have 15 years Bachelor science degree then I did M.Sc (IT) through distance education (PRIDE) from Periyar University, Salem. I have 1 year experience in a software company.

1. Is the distance education is valid for H1B?
2. Can I claim that I have studies (15+2=17 years) equality to U.S Bachelor’s degree (16 years)?
3. Is anyone have idea whether periyar university having good reputation to take risk?
4. Overall Am I eligible for H1B?

Hi.. I have completed my 10th in 1997, 12th in 1999 and then joined in the lateral entry(2nd year) Diploma in Electronics and communication engineering and completed in 2001 and did my BCA through Study center from 2016 to 2018 from Himalayan University. I am working in IT for the last 8.6 years as Cloud architect. Am I eligible for H1B?
