Can I travel after filing for H1 extension

Hi All,

I have to renew my H1 this year. I have my travel planned in the month of June. Can I file my extension and then travel outside US?

Not advisable. Your extension of status might get denied. Search for similar posts where a detailed explanation is provided why you are not suppose to travel once the extension is filed. Either file the extension in premium process and leave the country after getting the decision or come and then file the extension.
