H1B and H4 visa extension stamping query

Hi. My husband is working on H1B visa here in USA and I am on H4 since 2-3 yrs now. We have got our H1B extension approved. Now planning to go for a vacation to India to get the stamping done. Since DS-160 is a new form we had some queries about it. While filling the Home address which address should we fill. The current USA home address ? or the India address which is there in our passport. Most of our friends have filled their India address. But my husband's company is asking him to fill USA address. Does anyone know which is the right thing to fill ? Thanks in advance.

It does not matter. If you have a permanent address in India, you can fill that. Otherwise US address is also fine.

Write the address where the consulate can contact you in case they need to get in touch with you. No point in giving the U.S address when you are at your home country applying for the visa.
