H1 Extension Rfe Pending - Nearing 240 days -My Options

Hi,

H1 Applied Date : Aug 2, 2010
I-94 Expiration Date: Sep 21, 2010

Rfe Date: Jan 26, 2011
Responded : March 14, 2011(Regular)

Still Shows Pending. I will be completing 240 days on May19, 2011. Today I have upgraded it to Premium.

I hope I will get a response by then and in case if i recieve another Rfe I will be reaching 240 days limit.

Can I work after that ?
If No do I need to leave the country ?

You will need to leave the country. Return back on a valid H1B visa if the petition gets approved later.
