Apply for H1B

Hi,

company Y is ready to apply for H1B for me, currently i am on L1B with X Company.

Questions that i have -

1. Where can we download forms required for H1B Visa processing ?

2. can we apply as consular processing instead of COS from L1B to H1B so that i don;t have to rush for joining other company. and i can go back get stamping and come on H1B in Jan 12 ?

3. can we apply around Aug for H1B to get the start date of Jan 12 ? if cap is available using consular processing not COS ?

USCIS website, your employer files these forms and they should take care of those.
2. can we apply as consular processing instead of COS from L1B to H1B so that i don;t have to rush for joining other company. and i can go back get stamping and come on H1B in Jan 12 ?

Max 6 months in advance. Cap is expected to remain open till August.
