H4 & H1 - concurrent filing?
can you please elaborate on the statement...."she can only be on one status at any time".
By Status do you mean....the stamping in the passport or the H1/H4 approval?

H4 & H1 - concurrent filing?
I'm on a L1B which is going to maxout.
My wife is on L2 currently. She is on the verge of getting a job based on the EAD that she got as a L2 Spouse.
My employer is going to file for H1B for me and so at that time I've to file for H4 for my wife.
Can we also file for H1B at the same time for my wife also(through an employer where she is likely to get a job now?)
So, my questions are....
1) Can I file H4 & H1B for my wife at the same time?
2) If I can file H4 & H1B for my wife at the same time and if the H4 approval comes after her H1B approval, which one will be valid?
