Hello Guys,
I am on non profit H1.
Got an offer in a profit company. Company willing to apply for my new H1 and says you should start after we get the receipt (attorney is fine with that).
Only drawback is if H1 gets approved before Oct 1, I cannot work from the date the h1 is approved to Oct 1. My question is -
If I start working with them on receipt from USCIS, and my H1 gets approved, say on September 1. Do I have to LEAVE the country for stamping or I just have to be off payrole ?
