CPT-h1 Employment details in DS-160

I was on CPT from Jan'2010 till sep 2010 and than on H1 from Oct2010 till Feb2011 ( H1 approved from oct2011-sep2014). I started working for my employer from Jan 2010- feb 2011.. My question while filling DS-160 form is in previous employment details should i mention the previous employment from Oct-2010 till Feb 2011 ( Since my H1 approved from Oct 2010) or from Jan 2010 since i started working with my employer

You are suppose to be working for the H1B employer from Oct 1st to maintain your H1B status. If not, then you are considered out of status on H1B from your H1B effective date until the time you actually started working for the employer.

Thanks..so Oct 2010- Feb 2011 is correct right. Also i need not fill in Jan2010-sep2010 since i was on CPT..can you confirm kabkaba
