visa stamped- payroll

My h1b visa got stamped and presently i will be moving to UK for some assignment for 7 months.Just want to know with out US payroll for 7 months does my still stamped visa works..

Yes. As long as the petition/visa/passport remains valid and you still have the job available, you can enter U.S to work for the employer in H1B status.
