  • H1b Approval Notice

    Hi
I got my H1b extension approved . When I got I 797 by mail. It was different for me. It does not say validity period ( Valid from and Valid to ) and also Class of visa (i.e. H1b) .
I just wanted to check .
If anybody has faced situation like this OR It is a printing mistake OR it is new way of sending H1b approval.

I will appreciate, if somebody can suggest me further course of action.

    Thanks
    Ari

Does it have an I-94 at the bottom of approval notice?
It should have valid from and to dates as well as class. Is it approval notice or just receipt notice? Does it state that petition and status have been extended?
This is my opinion and not legal advice.

      Hi

Yes, it is a approval notice. It has i 94 at the bottom. But as i said. even i 94 does not a dates and visa class. Earlier i got receipt with EAC Number on it.

Do you have any suggestion in this.

      Thanks

I-94 (bottom right part) will not have any dates.
There should be dates at two places. On the top part and on the bottom left part.

What is the wording of the notice?

It is I797 A , Notice of Action with case type I 129 ( Petition for a Non Immigrant worker) .

I do not have any date in the Top right part and bottom left part. Even i do not have visa class written.

It should be a mistake. Ask your company attorney to check with USCIS.
