H1B visa apply from other client than the one gave me

Hi,
My H1B was applied by a employer A and the petiton for that been approved. However, the employer is taking a very long time to file for the visa interview. In the mean time can another employer apply for my visa (or visa transfer to company B) and if so what would be the procedure?

Give the new employer a copy of the existing approval notice and they will be able to file a new H1B petition under the same CAP and request an immediate start date. Once that petition gets approved, you can go for the visa interview with the newly approved petition. If H1B visa gets approved, then you can travel to U.S to work for the new employer. You will have to show the petition of the employer who you will be working in U.S at the POE.
