Hello,
My H1 petition has been approved, and I work on E-V-C model. My project is getting over in September 23 and my marriage is on 7th of October, so I have to travel without a job. My husband is a full time employee.
I have the following questions -
1. I am planning to return back on H4 visa, with H1 petition still on, will that cause any trouble? (My employer doesn't think it will be). I will not be attending any H1B stamping, as I do not have a valid project. I was working all the while on OPT and it is valid till 30th Sep only.
2. Do we have to submit all the documentation to the consulate before the appointment itself? I am planning to go to New Delhi Consulate and from all the discussions, that's the impression I am getting. The VO gives a green / pink slip without checking the documents and asks to send it to the consular office.
