H1B and L1B

I attended the H1B interview on July 12 2011. I got green slip for H1B to submit contract and client letter. I am not getting these documents from client .

Will filing L1 B for the same client work??? Will the pending H1B for same client be cancelled on going for L1B stamping??
I am getting an opportunity from other client. Can I get LCA for this while H1B is on hold and get H1B stamped??
What other options do I have??
