H1b and LCA

I received H1-B petition approval being in India on July 5th. It also has approved LCA thats valid until May 2013. I am waiting for my employer's VISA team to book H1B VISA stamping interview slot at Delhi - US consulate.

In the last week Visa team communicated to me that recently there have been some changes to LCA process. They said, they will need 3 weeks to understand those changes and roll it across organization. Until that happens, they won't book the slot for visa stamping interview.

Hence I am stuck at the moment. Do you know, what kind of changes in LCA procurement are there recently?

This may have to do with change in work location. If they are sending you to work in a different area than the previously filed LCA, they may need to file a new LCA. If they have to do that it takes 1 week to get a new certified LCA.
