Need Help regarding Travel to india

Hi i lost my passport in US now iam in H1b status ,if i want to go to india ,do i need to take a transit visa for the country where i have a stop ,what exactly i need to do,my passport is fresh no stamping on it ,it is like brand new can anyone please clarify my doubts ,the help is greatly appreciated

If you transit through any European countries (Except Belgium), you will need a transit visa when you don't have a valid U.S visa stamped in your passport.
