I was working for company A (consulting) and my project was going to finish and I could not find any project to work after that. So I planned to convert to H4 .I applied H4 and once I got the confirmation notice from USCIS to accept my H4 application, I *resigned from Company * A. Currently my H4 application status is initial review. Now I got a very good offer as a full time from CompanyB and they asked me to join with in 2 weeks. Hence I have some queries
1) is it possible for me to join CompanyB right now?*
2) Currently what is my status?H1B or H4?
3)Do I need to wait for H4 approval before applying the H1 for CompanyB?
4)Can I do the H1 transfer based on the old H1b (valid for another 2 years) with CompanyA? I do have all payslips till relieving date.So Can I do a H1 to H1 transfer ?If so can I start working for Company B after getting the receipt?
5)or *Since I applied for H4 do I need to do a CoS from H4 to H1? If so do I need to wait until it approves for starting work(since it is CoS)?
Can anyone suggest best way I can choose to start work again?
